At LiveAnew, we use a six-drop scale that is different for each style. In other words, a 3-drop rated pad has a very different maximum absorbency than a 3-drop brief. The drops are used to compare products within a style, but not to compare products of different styles. In general a 6-drop product in one style is similar to a 3-drop product in the next most absorbent style.
